Community Concerns Committee

The Academic Senate of Charles Drew University has established a Community Concerns Committee composed of faculty, students and community representatives in order to address a broad range of community issues and/or concerns as they relate to University academic policy. Our overall goals are:

1. To be knowledgeable of community concerns and/or issues
2. To utilized our expertise in preventive health, human services and community participatory research to ensure that the University has appropriate or planned academic and community service rograms
3. To proactively address and ameliorate any community concerns and issues which may be impacting the community-at-large
4. To provide a means for the community to give feedback to the University

The Community Concerns Committee is here to

1. Serve the community-at-large
2. To educate the community about the numerous health-related services and research programs being administered, implemented, and evaluated by University faculty, staff and students.

The Community Concerns Committeemeetsmonthly on the fourthWednesday of eachmonth at 4:30 PM on campus at Charles Drew University.
